How to: Create a Stock Recall
To create a Stock Recall
- Click the icon, enter Stock Recall List, and select the relevant link.
- Click the New action, and fill in the Code and Description fields. The code is the unique identifier for the Stock Recall. The Code field is populated from the number series set up in the Replenishment Setup, the Stock Recall No. Series field.

Fill in the fields on the General FastTab as described in the following table:
Field Description Warehouse Location Selection This field specifies the source of the warehouse location for the Stock Recall. The available options are: - From Replenishment Setup - The Warehouse Location Code defined in the Replen. From Warehouse List will be used if the relevant information exists, else the Warehouse Location Code specified on the Stock Recall page will be used.
- From Current Page Setup - The Warehouse Location Code specified on the Stock Recall page will be used directly.
Warehouse Location Code This field specifies the default destination location for the Stock Recall. Whether the value from this field will be used depends on the Warehouse Location Selection setup. If From Replenishment Setup is selected, it acts as the default warehouse code and will be used if no relevant information exists in the Replen. From Warehouse List. If From Current Page Setup is selected, it will be used directly.
The items will be transferred to the relevant location - usually this is a warehouse location.Allocation Rule Code This field specifies the default Allocation Rule to be used for the Stock Recall. For Stock Recall, an Allocation Rule defines the sourcing locations by using Store Groups and Stores as entities. Only stores and locations that are included in the Allocation Rule are considered for the Stock Recall. For more information, refer to Allocation Rule. Buyer ID This field specifies the Buyer ID for this Stock Recall. This is used in the Buyer's Workbench to filter documents for buyers or buyer groups. Buyer Group This field specifies the Buyer Group for this Stock Recall. This is used in the Buyer's Workbench to filter documents for buyers or buyer groups.

Fill in the fields on the Calculation Parameters FastTab as described in the following table:
Field Description Reason Code This field specifies the reason for the Stock Recall. Number of Sales Days to Analyze This field specifies how many days of sales history are considered to calculate the average sales quantity per day. Number of Sales Days to Cover This field specifies for how many days items shall remain in the stores or locations. The calculated average sales quantity is multiplied with this field to calculate the needed quantity until the end of the coverage horizon. If a store or location has an inventory higher than the needed quantity, this excessive quantity is recalled.
- Fill in the fields on the Stock Recall Lines FastTab.
